Find nearby courts, save your favorites, and discover new places to play using the Nice Play iOS app.

Finding Courts

Discover pickleball courts near you or search anywhere in the world.

How to search for courts:

  1. Tap the Locations tab at the bottom of the screen
  2. Use the search bar at the top to search by:
    • • Court or park name
    • • Address or zip code
    • • City or neighborhood
  3. Browse the map to see courts visually
  4. Filter results by distance or features

Pro tip:

Enable location services for Nice Play to see courts sorted by distance from your current location.

Court Information

Tap any court to view detailed information and upcoming events.

What you'll see:

  • Number of courts: How many courts are available
  • Surface type: Indoor/outdoor, court material
  • Amenities: Lights, restrooms, parking, water
  • Access: Public, membership required, fees
  • Photos: See what the courts look like
  • Upcoming events: Games scheduled at this location

Actions you can take:

  • • Save as a favorite for quick access
  • • Get directions in Apple Maps
  • • Create an event at this location
  • • View events happening here

Saving Favorite Courts

Save courts you frequent to quickly create events and get directions.

To save a court as favorite:

  1. Find the court in the Locations tab
  2. Tap on the court to open details
  3. Tap the star icon to save it
  4. Access your favorites at the top of the Locations tab

Benefits of saving favorites:

  • • Quick access when creating events
  • • One-tap directions from anywhere
  • • See your favorite courts at the top of the list
  • • Never forget where you played that great game

Getting Directions

Navigate to any court using Apple Maps integration.

From the Locations tab:

  1. Open any court's detail page
  2. Tap "Get Directions"
  3. Apple Maps opens with the route

From an event:

  1. Open the event details
  2. Tap on the location address
  3. Get directions directly from the event

Adding New Locations

Don't see a court in our database? You can submit new locations for approval.

How to submit a new location:

  1. In the Locations tab, tap "Submit Location"
  2. Enter basic information:
    • • Name of the court/facility
    • • Full address
    • • Number of courts
  3. Add details (optional but helpful):
    • • Indoor or outdoor
    • • Surface type
    • • Available amenities
    • • Access restrictions or fees
    • • Photos of the courts
  4. Submit for review - Our team will verify and add it

Review process:

Submissions are typically reviewed within 1-2 business days. You'll get a notification when your court is approved and added to the map.

Location Management

Facility managers and club organizers can claim locations to keep information up-to-date.

Benefits of claiming a location:

  • Edit court information and details
  • Upload photos and update amenities
  • Post announcements (closures, events, etc.)
  • See usage analytics

How to claim a location:

  1. Open the location you want to manage
  2. Tap "Claim This Location"
  3. Provide verification (facility affiliation, role)
  4. Submit your claim for approval

Claims are reviewed to verify you represent the facility.

Tips for Using Locations

🎯 Be specific in event descriptions

Large facilities may have multiple courts. Include court numbers or specific meeting spots in your event description.

📸 Add photos when submitting

Good photos help players know what to expect and find the courts when they arrive.

⭐ Save your regular spots

Star the 3-4 courts you play at most often for instant access when creating events.

🗺️ Explore new areas

Traveling? Search courts in your destination to find pickup games and local communities.

✏️ Keep info updated

If you notice incorrect information, submit an edit or contact support to help keep the database accurate.
