Getting Started with Nice Play iOS App

Welcome to the Nice Play iOS app! Let's get you set up and playing in minutes.

Download & Create Your Account

Download Nice Play from the iOS App Store, then sign up with your email address. You'll need to verify your email before accessing all features.

Tips:

  • Use an email you check regularly for notifications
  • Choose a strong password

Complete Your Profile

Tap your profile in the app to add your name, photo, and skill level. This helps other players get to know you and ensures balanced games.

What to include:

  • First & Last Name: How other players will know you
  • Profile Photo: Upload a clear photo (optional but recommended)
  • Skill Level: Rate yourself from 1.0 to 5.0 (be honest - it helps create balanced games!)
  • Location: Add your city to help find local players
  • Bio: Tell others a bit about your playing style

Join or Create a Group

Groups are where your community lives. Tap the Groups tab in the app to join your local club or create a group with friends!

Join a Group:

  1. Get a join code from an organizer
  2. Tap Groups tab → Join Group button
  3. Enter the code and join

Create a Group:

  1. Tap Groups tab → Create Group button
  2. Add a name and description
  3. Share your join code with members

Create or Join Your First Event

Ready to play? Browse upcoming events on your home feed or tap the + button to create your own game.

Quick tips:

  • Check the Home tab for upcoming games in your area
  • Tap "Join" on any event card to RSVP
  • Tap the + button at the bottom to create your own event
  • Enable push notifications to get alerts when people join
